The Position Proposition:
ARB Underground is seeking a Project Manager for our Fairfield, CA job location.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our gas operations projects.
- Report to and assist Division Manager
- Business casual attire.

- Lead daily huddles with direct project team (Super/FM/Field Engineers), which are built around Quality, Quantity (production), and Safety
- Discuss obstacles that have been encountered, work to resolve in daily huddles as well as action items around obstacles and missing goals
- Provide real time feedback for your direct reports
- Engage in weekly performance dialogues, focusing on underperformers through schedule analysis, daily production performance reviews, field observations of top performers to identify efficiencies, and production review with Super/FM.
- Speak with the crews and drive expectations.
- Review and discuss JHA
- Get to know your team
- Listen to feedback from the field (what ideas do they have, what obstacles do they have)
- Document and provide feedback on the huddle to leadership
- Perform Site Visits (3-days/week in field on project site)
- Field Reports – Review HCSS Daily Reports submitted by Foreman for accuracy
- Descriptive (footage of main installed, service lengths & quantities, etc.)
Job Requirements:
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude
- Communication with the Project Teams (Operations / Controls / Admin / Estimating)
- Valid Driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record
- Previous experience in Gas Distribution, preferred

The Position Proposition:
The Finance Manager will manage financial support for Primoris T&D within the Utilities Power Delivery operations. This position provides operational financial & accounting support to both division and segment management, including monthly closings, reporting, planning and forecasting, field reporting, analysis of division activities, backlog and other ad hoc reporting needs. This position will assist management in making educated economic decisions about the division's future.
This is a hybrid position based in the Dade City, FL area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, prepare and provide operations management with accurate and timely financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, client P&L’s, billing summaries, equipment, and other reports, as needed by management.
- Lead the forecast and planning process, coordinating with operations management, segment management, and other levels within the division/group.
- Coordinate with corporate shared services accounts payable and payroll groups.
- Assist in resolving “front line” issues and provide proper coding, resolution of issues, and follow up with operations and employees to assure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and payroll.
- Assist corporate shared services with employee expense reports, cash control, and cash forecasting issues, as needed.
- Assist procurement department in the approvals/processing, as needed, for purchase orders.
- Assist the Billing Manager and billing group, as needed, to ensure accurate and timely billing with customers and entry into customer billing systems.
- On a dotted line basis, oversees activities of billing processes, including billers, WMS (Work Management Specialists) and interacts with timekeepers, project management, project controls, and clients.
- Coordination of billing into Viewpoint, assist in unit definition/interpretation, as defined in customer agreements, to assure accurate and appropriate Unit billing and revenue recognition.
- Coordinate with operations management for the collection of accounts receivable, monitor/track AR aging, DSO, provide management billing and AR reports, etc.
- Assure sales and property tax compliance with assistance from Primoris Tax Department, provide necessary information for tax filings, etc.
- Establish and maintain systems and controls to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, including the verification of the integrity of all systems, processes, and data within the division.
- Coordinate with internal audit and external audit for review and testing.
- Assist in customer audits, quarterly and annual audits.
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects and develop special reports, as needed or requested by division and segment management and by the Segment CFO.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Educational & Minimum Requirements:
Required Qualifications
- BS in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is required.
- Must have 10+ years of hands-on accounting managerial experience, preferably in a construction environment.
- Strong accounting/GAAP knowledge and background, a good understanding of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable & billing, payroll, project costing & revenue accounting (POC, Unit/MSA), reporting systems experience, etc.
- Strong work ethic, ability to meet deadlines, monthly and quarterly closings, at times requiring overtime.
- Significant financial software experience, proficient in Excel (spreadsheet) skills, analytical analysis, and use of other productivity software (email, laptops, BI, etc.).
- Strong managerial, leadership & communication skills required, both upward and downward in the organization. Requires good interaction with subordinates and with all levels of operational management, including the Corporate Shared Services group and with customers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are required. Capable of writing justifications, summaries; training users in moderately complex topics. Capable of maintaining frequent contact with all levels of management, customers, vendors, and/or internal staff to furnish and obtain information and resolve issues; typically, capable of developing and delivering effective group presentations.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for ensuring a safety culture is established on each project within the production functions. Will validate the safety program is being adhered to onsite and additional training is provided if not.
- Will be responsible for ensuring the Superintendents are adhering to the design, construction species and construction methods to produce a quality product.
- Responsible for supporting and establishing Solar Best Methods during the planning and construction stages of the project. Will work with Supt’s to refine crews and methods on the projects and request feedback from Superintendents, Foremen and the project team to determine if existing methods shall be updated or refined.
- Will work side by side the Superintendents, GF, and Foremen during planning stages, startup and during each project to coach, mentor and develop these individuals for consistency and efficiency.
- Work with each Supt during pre-construction stages to establish equipment plans, labor plans and material plans. Refer and compare back to estimate during this development.
- Develop and update standardized Work Plans and Work Methods used by the company for estimating and work execution. Work with the Chief Estimator to ensure there is a relationship among all estimators and Supt’s.
- Support the Site / Construction Manager on each project to ensure adequate and skill sets on the project.
- May at times visit proposed project sites to support Estimating and Business Development.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR).
- Ability to supervise many employees.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage field operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) with Clients and/or Subcontractors and track their impacts on project scope, schedule and cost. Review project Specifications, Standards and Drawings from Clients, Subcontractors and Fabricators.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with specifications, and identify potential issues.
- Planning: Understand the Project Schedule and follow Workforce Planning best practices to ensure the field personnel have the Work Packages to execute in alignment with the schedule.
- Reporting: Prepare project status reports addressing schedule, progress, staffing, safety and open issues.
- Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and monitor delivery and review of documents, drawings, and submittals.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet the required specifications.

Qualifications:
- Education: BS Mechanical Engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in field engineering, preferably in power generation, petrochemical, or similar industrial projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Experience with engineering, scheduling and project management software tools is an advantage. Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for ensuring a safety culture is established on each project within the production functions. Will validate the safety program is being adhered to onsite and additional training is provided if not.

- Develop and update standardized Work Plans and Work Methods used by the company for estimating and work execution. Work with the Chief Estimator to ensure there is a relationship among all estimators and Supt’s.
- Support the Site / Construction Manager on each project to ensure adequate and skill sets on the project.
- May at times visit proposed project sites to support Estimating and Business Development.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
Basic Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers and project controls specialists in development of all required monthly and quarterly scheduling reports for their assigned projects. These reports include but aren't limited to weekly schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, critical path analysis, schedule impact analysis, earned value analysis, S-curves creation and analysis, resource reporting and writing schedule narrative when requested.

- 2+ years of scheduling experience with a preference given for experience in Solar, Renewable Energy, Power Generation, or Industrial Electrical.

- Facilitate monthly Work in Progress (WIP) reviews with project managers and leadership, providing clear insights and forecasting.
- Conduct internal audits on project costs, accounting practices, profitability, and financial forecasts.
- Work cross-functionally with Business Unit Directors and Operations to ensure consistent, effective project practices.
- Mentor team members in key project control functions, ensuring skill development and process improvement.
- Ensure smooth project closeout and completion with accurate financial reconciliation and reporting.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Project Controls, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of Project Control experience in construction; experience in solar, renewable energy, or power generation is preferred.

- Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Primavera/MS Project, EcoSys, Viewpoint, and Document Control software.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and oral), with a talent for organization and collaboration.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises and sets direction for all Foremen and craft labor on-site to ensure best use of all company resources, and adherence to all company policies and state and federal regulations. Provides formal coaching feedback to Foremen as well as regular informal feedback to Field Engineers.
- Schedules equipment, materials and tools. Effectively utilize all resources to maximize production and minimize costs after becoming familiar with scope of work and site conditions. Collaborates with Trade Superintendent on all scheduled activities.
- Manages, coaches, trains and implements standardized Work Instructions. Assists Trade Superintendent in process improvement efforts.
- Acts as a technical consultant to all field personnel in the areas of, electrical circuits, power quality, switchgear installations, transmission lines, inter-connect systems, and high voltage collection/distribution systems.
- Manages and is responsible for safe working conditions and safety procedures on the project, more particularly for specific discipline. Understands and enforces company, jobsite specific, federal, and state safety regulations on site and addresses any concerns with Trade Superintendent. Will be responsible within work discipline for the utilization of best safety practices: the management of employee training for work methods, emphasis on special risks, cranes, lifting, DOT requirements, site conditions, telehandlers, JHA’s, accident injury management, electrical safety hazard, LOTO, arc flash (all as apply).
- Communicates with Trade Superintendent to update him/her on project problem areas and the specific status of the project. Collaborates with Trade Superintendent to plan and staff (hiring, promoting, disciplining, terminating) trade employees through the proper utilization of company resources, processes and policies.
- Conducts oneself with professional and respectful demeanor while interacting with all internal and external individuals. The General Foreman is expected to create a collaborative environment with front line supervision, craft, subcontractors, vendors, and the Owner to continually improve the company’s delivery performance.
- Compares labor and equipment production and efficiency to the job estimate for specific discipline and informs the Trade Superintendent of cost over-runs and the utilization of company resources.
- The General Foreman is accountable for verifying that the project construction activities and project engineering are in conformance with the project Quality Plan, and Work Methods. General Foremen are responsible for establishing, aligning, and communicating the project specifications and craftsmanship expectations to all craft workers, vendors, subcontractors, and other agents.
- Mentors’ other professional positions such as Field Construction Coordinator/Field Engineers and Foremen on work discipline, production costs, scope of work, quality, and safety.
- Understands scope of work per the contract.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
- Maintain crew and equipment matrixes, comparing information back to established Work Plans and updating Operations Analysis as needed
- Completes all necessary reports in a timely and legible manner, includes Daily Reports, Quality documentation, Material Requests, time sheets.
- Performs 10% Quality audits of all installed work or as otherwise detailed in the Project Quality Plan.
- Familiarize themselves with site conditions.
- Lead discipline work activities in the absence of the Trade Superintendent.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Education shall include high school, post-secondary college, or technical college education level.
- At least Five (5) years of related construction experience demonstrating management and leadership capabilities.
- Must demonstrate good communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR).
- Ability to manage and supervise multiple employees.
- Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment uses and limitations.
- Good communication skills to deal with owners and employees.
- Relocation to community of project site is required.
- May be required to become a qualified individual in pursuit of a company contract licensing, or journeyman or master electrician license.

- Lineman certification or completion of lineman school and any previous apprenticeship hours is required.
